OBU on Board ??? Yes, of course!!!

To the starting date of the toll in Germany on 1 January 2005 we can answer our customers that all of our vehicles are equipped with the On Board Unit (short: OBU) necessary for the collection of the charges. Thus you can calm down because your transmissions arrive punctual as usual and our drivers do not have to range in queues at the terminals of service areas and thus lose valuable time.

The toll is raised in Germany on all motorways for lorries with more than 12 tons of permissible maximum weight. The toll charge averages 12.4 €-cents per driven kilometer. Because of the fact that we have a very modern fleet (no vehicle is older than 3 years!), all vehicles are to be assigned to the EURO 3 exhaust standard. Long-distance traffic vehicles which will be purchased this year, will even correspond to the EURO 4 exhaust standard.

Our vehicles which drive to Switzerland or to Austria are already equipped with the measuring devices used in these countries, so that we can likewise offer a fast and flexible performance in these countries to our customers.
